Alvin just signed a cookbook deal for his Filipino cookbook, Amboy with Houghlin Mifflen Harcourt. The deal is one of the largest cookbook sales advances ever given to a Chef by the publishing company.

MARCH
Alvin will be one of the featured Chefs at the prestigious Food and Wine Magazine’s new restaurant venture: Chef’s Counter.

APRIL
Alvin will be a guest Chef along with Michelin Starred chefs at the world reknowned food festival Madrid Fusion Manila Unit 120 is hosting the LA Times Food Bowl Launch Party

MAY
Throughout the month of May Unit 120 is hosting Filipino Food Fridays culiminating in a Lechon Festival.

JUNE
Alvin is a featured chef at the elite Aspen Food and Wine festival where his Filipino food venture, Amboy will host a Filipino food booth as well as making drinking food for the Chef’s Club After Party.

JULY
Alvin is a featured Chef at a Filipino food dinner at the prestigious Chef’s Club NYC

AUGUST
Amboy will be at the Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival

SEPTEMBER
Amboy will be presenting a dish at Portland Fest, a food festival sponsored Bon Appetit Magazine.

OCTOBER
Alvin is travelling with an American culinary entourage to Philippines to explore tour the local products from the Philippines.
